The 2007/2008 season is moving by us quickly; it's already November as I write this. But unlike last year when my goal for the season was clear from early spring (to run the Iditarod), this year has so far progressed without that same goal-oriented focus. Now I have it, though. While I won't be running a 1,000 mile race this season, I will be racing about 1,000 miles, in the Seeley 200, Beargrease (if I can manage to get in -- I'm on the waiting list), and Race to the Sky. I'm excited to have our agenda determined so the mental preparation can begin and catch up to the training.
